Welcome to my page about Lego photography!
My name is Natasja de Vos and i live in the Netherlands in a small town called Wolphaartsdijk.
Photography is one of my hobbies and especially Lego photography.
so please let me take you to the wonderful world of macro photography.....a real world with plastic minifigures who are just four bricks tall stacked together.
My LEGO photography adventure started about 6 years ago. My children built a lot with LEGO, just like I used to do. And when a nice project was finished, she also wanted to build something else but also thought it was a shame to break down their project again, so I took pictures of it so that they had a memory and that's how the beginning of the minifigure photography because fun stories were also built in the buildings.
I had been active on Instagram for a while and after a while of taking pictures I posted my own “stories” with LEGO.
Photography has always had my interest and the combination with the minifigures gave me the opportunity to tell my "feeling of the day".
And so my development in photography also grew.
The LEGO/TOY community on Instagram is really great and therefore also found connection with like-minded people.
That is how I ended up at Stuckinplastic in 2019.
We are a creative collective of toy photographers rooted in the old continent of Europe. Our crew can be found from the south of France to the north of Finland (Current crew has roots in France, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Netherlands and the United Kingdom).
And so in 2020 I also participated in LEGOMASTERS NL/BE.
Together with Evelien Hoekman-Lautenbag I was the only women's duo.
What a fantastic experience that was. One to never forget.
